Used by most bakeries the sponge cake is a foam cake. Sponge Cakes are made with basically three main ingredients eggs, sugar and flour. They are light and airy as a result of the air beaten into the separated egg yolks and egg whites.
The Cupcake Junkie Cake is a "butter" and "better" cake.
Cupcake Junkie cupcakes and cakes are made of the same three main ingredients eggs, sugar and flour, but with a magical twist of butter which makes the cake denser and cakier.
