Welcome to Brooklin

Downtown Brooklin

Founded in 1840, Downtown Brooklin is a designated heritage conservation district in north Whitby. Many of the local businesses are run out of historic homes, such as restaurants with regionally sourced ingredients, charming home décor boutiques, and pubs with welcoming patios. Downtown Brooklin is highly walkable, with a hardware store, pharmacy and yoga and dance studios, and in a typical year is home to numerous festivals and events including the historic Brooklin Spring Fair.

The Village of Brooklin may look quaint, but make no mistake: it is no sleepy little hamlet.
